Recently, Audi RS e-tron GT was unveiled at the 2022 Guangzhou International Auto Show. At the same time, Audi officially announced that the new car was officially launched, priced at 1.4688 million yuan. The new car is positioned as a pure electric four-door GT coupe, equipped with a front and rear dual-motor drive system, with a system comprehensive maximum power (boost mode) of 475KW, a 0-100 acceleration of 3.3 seconds, and a CLTC operating range of 495 kilometers.

The Audi RS e-tron GT and Porsche Taycan are built on the same platform, and the new car will be produced on the same line as the Audi R8 in the same factory (Bollinger Hofe factory).

To this end, Audi has expanded and modernized the production line at its Bollinger Hofe plant in Germany, added a large number of digital production processes and intelligent technologies, and built a new welding workshop to complete the connection of the complex multi-material bodies of the Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT, which are made of a large amount of high-strength steel and aluminum.

Design

In terms of exterior design, the front face of the new car still continues the design style of Audi's fuel performance models on sale. In terms of detail design, the front face of the new car adopts a closed design, and the hexagonal grille is covered with a diamond-shaped decorative plate. In addition, the new car is also equipped with a matrix high-definition laser headlight group, and the front surround also uses a black appearance kit and carbon fiber components.

On the side, the new car adopts a fastback design, and the low and slender body posture creates an excellent dynamic atmosphere. In addition, the new car also adopts a four-door frameless door design, and uses 20-inch five-spoke two-color aluminum alloy wheels (front and rear 245/45 R20, rear 285/40 R20 ), and is also equipped with tungsten carbide coated brake discs and red brake calipers.

The body dimensions of the new car are: 4989*1964*1393mm, and the wheelbase is 2900mm.

 

At the rear, the new car uses a through-type taillight group, while the bottom of the rear surround also uses a carbon fiber sports kit and an exaggerated diffuser. In addition, the rear of the new car is also equipped with an electrically adjustable rear wing.

Interior Design

In terms of interior design, the new car's center console is equipped with a three-spoke flat-bottom RS sports steering wheel, a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel, and a 10.1-inch embedded center control screen. In addition, the new car also has a large number of function buttons below the center control screen, and also uses a lever push-pull shift mechanism.

In addition, the new car also uses a large amount of carbon fiber trim + leather material covering the center console, door panels, etc. to further enhance the sense of technology and sporty atmosphere in the car.

As for the seats, the car has a 5-seat layout, and all the seats are wrapped in leather. In addition, the front row of the new car is also equipped with sports-style seats to further enhance the sporty atmosphere in the car.

In terms of seat functionality, the new car comes standard with front seat electric adjustment, heating, ventilation, massage, and driver's seat memory.
