Beijing Benz releases new EQA and EQB

Recently, Beijing Benz officially launched the new Mercedes- Benz EQAand EQB pure electric SUV. There are three models in total, with prices ranging from 322,000 to 428,000 yuan. As products of the same platform, the two new cars show many similarities in configuration, including the first introduction of the luminous star design, which is combined with the "dark night star array" closed front grille to create a unique visual impact. The new through-type taillights and headlight designs echo each other, enhancing the vehicle's futuristic feel.

The entire series comes standard with AMG-style body components. The front apron has an avant-garde design and is equipped with high-gloss black side trim strips, while the rear apron incorporates a diffuser shape and curved silver trim strips, giving the vehicle a stronger sporty temperament. In addition, four new wheel rims are available in 18- to 19-inch options, and are equipped with illuminated door sills as standard to enhance the experience of getting on the car.

In terms of interior, the new car introduces a luminous star emblem decorative panel for the first time, combined with a 64-color ambient lighting system to create a changeable cabin atmosphere. The Berlin Sound surround sound system supports Dolby Atmos, and personalized simulated sound waves provide four ambient sound effects to choose from. The automatic air conditioning system has a PM2.5 filtering function and can automatically adjust the circulation mode in the car according to the air quality to ensure the respiratory health of passengers.

At the technical level, the newly upgraded MBUX intelligent human-computer interaction system not only improves performance, but also adds more functions. The standard dual 10.25-inch floating displays have exquisite picture quality and fast touch response. They are paired with a new multi-function sports steering wheel to achieve convenient dual-screen control. There are a wide range of third-party entertainment applications, including Tencent Video, Huoshan Cheyu, Himalaya and QQ Music. The upgraded "mind-reading voice assistant" supports dual commands and wake-up-free functions, improving the naturalness and smoothness of human-computer interaction.

In terms of battery life and charging, the new EQA and EQB have CLTC operating endurance of up to 619 kilometers and 600 kilometers respectively, and support fast charging technology, which can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in just 45 minutes. For long-distance driving needs, the EQ optimized navigation function can intelligently plan the best charging route based on real-time energy consumption, road conditions and charging station information.
