Lexus RZ450e Luxury officially landed in Malaysia, with a WLTP range of 440km

Lexus Malaysia recently officially launched a new pure electric SUV - Lexus RZ) 450e Luxury. Its selling points include 150kW DC fast charging, dual-motor design and a maximum range of 440km under the WLTP test!

The Lexus RZ450e Luxury breaks the design constraints of traditional SUVs and has a unique spindle-shaped body design, maintaining the unique brand recognition of Lexus. The body lines are inspired by the dynamic posture of cheetahs, and the overall shape is dynamic. The low front and muscular wheel arches further optimize the aerodynamic performance.

The car is available in six body colors, including the new Aether Metallic inspired by the clear sky, in addition to color options such as Sonic Copper, Sonic Chrome, Graphite Black Glass Flake, Sonic Quartz and Sonic Iridium, providing consumers with a diverse aesthetic experience.

The interior design of the Lexus RZ450e Luxury continues the people-oriented concept. The cockpit adopts Lexus' Tazuna concept, which concentrates driving-related controls around the steering wheel, allowing the driver to focus more on driving. The layout design of the instrument panel, HUD head-up display and central control screen ensures that the driver's sight is smooth.

The center console features Tsuyasumi upholstery, which gives it a smooth carbon black effect. The seats and door trims use eco-friendly suede made partially from recycled PET and biomaterials, which not only ensures comfort but also reflects Lexus' commitment to sustainability.

The car is equipped with Lexus Climate Concierge and S-Flow Control systems, as well as nanoe™ X air purification technology to ensure fresh air in the car. The audio system uses a 13-speaker Mark Levinson premium surround sound system to provide high-quality music enjoyment.

The Lexus RZ450e Luxury adopts the new e-TNGA platform, which has higher structural rigidity and lighter body weight. The vehicle is equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of 71.4 kWh, which supports both AC and DC charging methods. Using the Type 1 (J1772) interface, the maximum power of AC charging is 11kW; using the CCS2 interface, the maximum power of DC fast charging can reach 150kW. When fully charged, the Lexus RZ450e's WLTP range can reach 440 kilometers.

In terms of power system, the Lexus RZ450e adopts a front and rear dual motor layout, with the front motor power of 150 kW (201 Hp) and the rear motor power of 80 kW (107 Hp), with a total output power of 230 kW (308 Hp). The vehicle is equipped with Lexus' new DIRECT4 intelligent all-wheel drive control system, which further enhances driving confidence, control and comfort.

Safety has always been a top priority for Lexus. The new Lexus RZ450e is equipped with the third-generation Lexus Safety System+ (LSS+), which provides world-class safety performance. The vehicle is also equipped with the advanced Lexus Teammate advanced parking system, which uses four parallel view monitoring cameras and 12 ultrasonic sensors to achieve automatic parking. In addition, part of the body frame is made of materials with a rigidity of up to 1479MPa to ensure the safety of the vehicle.
